London flats development

A collection of one- and two-bedroom London apartments designed for young professional renters, created in collaboration with a developer looking for a more design-led approach to rental living.

The brief was to create contemporary, characterful apartments that would stand out in the market without losing sight of budget, durability and commercial viability. We worked across the interiors, refining layouts, zoning open-plan kitchen and living spaces, and developing the kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, storage, panelling details, colour palettes and materials.

Our involvement also extended beyond the individual flats, with design input for the communal hallways and staircases, as well as final specifications for key exterior and arrival details including the external finishes and driveway. The aim was to create a cohesive journey from the outside in, with colours, shapes and materials echoed throughout the building so the whole development felt considered rather than pieced together.

Each flat has its own subtle variation, while still feeling connected to the wider scheme. Patterned flooring, warm wood tones, muted greens, brass details and graphic touches bring interest and flow throughout, creating rental homes that feel stylish, individual and ready to live in – without a trace of safe magnolia.
