Cocooning lounge

A grown-up lounge designed to feel warm, cocooning and just a little bit dramatic. Set within a colourful SW11 family home, the room needed to have its own sense of calm while still feeling full of personality.

We used full-height panelling to give the space structure, then brought in saturated colour, bespoke joinery and vintage pieces to create a room that feels collected rather than overly designed. The client’s much-loved sofa was reupholstered in a more sumptuous fabric, giving it a new lease of life without losing the comfort and familiarity they loved.

The finished room feels cosy, soulful and a lot of warmth, and the kind of character that feels as though it has grown over time.
