The Designers House

Our Victorian family home in South East London has been transformed over time into a colourful, creative and highly personal home. Rather than being designed in one single moment, it has been renovated, extended and reimagined in phases as our family has grown and the way we live has changed.

Original details such as cornicing, ceiling roses, sash windows and fireplaces sit alongside bold paintwork, graphic shapes, bespoke storage and playful design details. We have opened up rooms, moved walls, connected bedrooms to bathrooms, and bathrooms into bedrooms, and designed children’s spaces that work harder for sleep, storage, play and imagination.

This is a house designed around real family life – children, work, gatherings, quiet moments and creative ideas. A home where period features are celebrated, but the layout has been reshaped around the way we actually live; old bones, colour, character and plenty of heart.
